Marketing site & distributor portal

A website the Rim-Lock team edits themselves, and a portal where each distributor follows their quotes and purchase orders, and sends customers quotes branded with their own logo, colours and contact details, without calling or emailing.

It shares one customer and pricing base with the quote builder. An NFC-tagged asset register for locks in the field is the next phase.

The Rim-Lock homepage, then a distributor signing in to the portal, setting their logo and footer text in the brand kit, and opening a quote whose PDF carries their branding

The problem

Rim-Lock sells through distributors, and every status question about a quote or a purchase order was a phone call or an email. The company website also needed a developer for every change.

What I built

  • A marketing site that the Rim-Lock team edits themselves in a content management system.
  • A distributor portal where each distributor follows their quotes and purchase orders without contacting the office.
  • A brand kit for each distributor: their logo, colour and contact details appear on the PDF quotes they send their own customers.
  • One shared customer and pricing base with the quote builder, so nothing is entered twice.

The outcome

Distributors answer their own status questions and send quotes under their own name. An NFC-tagged asset register for locks in the field is the next phase.
